And there she is, that world traveler Flat Ruthie, in Venice on her way in the early morning to the Piazza San Marco ( and a caffe!). She’s right across the Adriatic from her Croatian travels. Ps – she LOVED Venice so much she’s staying on.
Stay there as long as you can, Flat Ruthie! Be sure to try the pasta cooked in sepia ink. And no matter where you are outdoors, when you stop for whatever reason, look above to make sure there aren’t any pigeons roosting overhead. Enuf said.
